Football is put to the back of our minds today as we celebrate Christmas but 52 years ago that was not the case with Burnley set to play in a First Division game.

Since 1957 we've been able to enjoy a football free Christmas Day whilst looking forward to the big Boxing Day game and ours tomorrow is against Bolton.
Today is a family day so I'd like to take this opportunity wish everyone a very merry Christmas and hope you have an enjoyable day whilst thinking of those who are going through difficult times just now.
