The club have reported that the scheme has been introduced to prevent infiltration of away fans into home areas and to ensure that Burnley fans who attend games regularly are rewarded for their loyalty.
The £20 cost of membership is for one season and is the same prices for all categories, but it will allow members a discount of around 20% on match day prices, and that is up to £7 for adult tickets. It means over a full season supporters could save over £100 by becoming a member.
Members will also enjoy a priority period for buying home tickets but they will be strictly limited to one per member. Membership is now available from the ticket office or by phone on 0871 221 194.
Should any tickets be available for sale after the members' priority period then should this be an 'A' category game they will be required to be registered on the Clarets database and must also buy a ticket for a category 'B' game.
