The Clarets’ central defender turned in brilliant performance after brilliant performance during the month and so when the voting started on 1st November, and prompted by this site’s message board, the name to go for was McGreal. 
Those performances have now been rewarded, he has won the award and follows Richard Chaplow who collected it during last season after a big Clarets Mad campaign and it is good to see that a regular to the site Ian McLean has won the opportunity to present the award to John at a forthcoming home game.
