Guiseley won the Unibond Premier Division last season, in what was their centenary, and they have now snapped up Jake who has been with Burnley for the last two seasons as a member of the youth team.

Last season saw him make a debut for Wales at youth level. He also played extensively in the reserves and once Christian Kalvenes had left the club he was the left-back in all remaining games in the Barclays Premier Reserve League.

However, the Skipton born player was not offered a deal in the spring and has since been in search of a new club.

That search has ended with Guiseley. Jake played for them in a pre-season game against Garforth, coming on as a substitute. It was after this game that he put pen to paper and on Saturday he was in the starting line up as they continued their pre-season against Frickley Athletic.
