McDonald nets for Scots

He was in the starting line up for their European Under-21 Championship Group 10 qualifier in a game that was played at the Suduva Stadium in Marijampole. His goal came in the 60^th minute to complete the scoring.

The other goals came from Falkirk's Scott Arfield and Ross McCormack who moved from Motherwell to Cardiff during the summer.

McDonald played the first 83 minutes of the game before being substituted, West Brom's Graham Dorrans replacing him.
