McCann takes the honours

Chris McCann
On a disappointing night McCann was in excellent form in the first half in midfield and after being moved into the back four just after half time following the injury to Clarke Carlisle he turned in another good display.

That performance won him 36.4% of our man of the match vote to give him three points in our Player of the Year Table. Wade Elliott is very much a player in form right now and he came second behind Chris with 17.4% of the vote to claim the two points whilst David Unsworth was third with 9.4% of the vote, taking the final point.

In the player ratings on the message board it was the same top two. McCann led the way comfortably with a final rating of 7.71 out of ten and with it another three points. Elliott was next with 6.94 whilst the third place in the ratings went to Clarke Carlisle with an average of 6.41 out of 10.

The results haven't had any effect on the top of the table, but both McCann and Elliott have moved up a place to eighth and seventh respectively.
