Chris McCann - two points clear at the top
It's the first change of leadership since the first day of the season. Martin Paterson got maximum points from the first two games and had held his lead until now, but McCann's recent performances have edged him closer and closer and now he's gone two points in front of Pato.

He was a clear winner in both the man of the match vote and the player ratings on the message board after that win over the Hornets. In the man of the match he polled no less than 49.1% of the vote and that put him a long, long way clear.

Wade Elliott and Graham Alexander were challengers for second and third place, and it was Elliott who took second with 15.3% and Alexander ended third with 11.6% of the vote.

In the player ratings Chris was again on top with a rating of 8.28 out of 10 and that was again a good distance ahead of second place. It was Alexander second with a rating of 7.50 whilst 7.06 was enough to give Paterson third place.

This gives McCann six points whilst there are three points for Alexander who is in third place in the table, two for last season's winner Elliott and one for Paterson now in second place.

Voting is currently underway for the Reading game. The man of the match vote will run until the end of tomorrow after which the vote will start for the September Goal of the Month.
