Marlon in Turf Moor talks

Earlier in the day York said talks were continuing there too but they have now revealed that as much as they would like to keep the goalkeeper it now looks as though he is heading back to Turf Moor.

York fans this week voted to have Alan Fettis returned to the first team at the expense of Marlon but it was a narrow victory and given the popularity of Fettis at Bootham Crescent this was considered a major vote of confidence for Marlon from the York fans.

He signed for a month at York and that apparently is due to come to an end after their game at Bury tomorrow. However if the Clarets are successful in signing him then it is likely that he will return to Turf Moor immediately and would join the squad for the game at Derby.
