The sad news has just reached us that Margaret Potts, widow of former Burnley manager Harry Potts, passed away yesterday at the age of 86.

It was always a delight to be in her company and I, for one, was always eager to listen to stories of Harry, one of my early Turf Moor heroes.
A tribute from Dave Thomas will appear later on Clarets Mad but I would like to send my deepest condolences to her son Ken and her daughter Linda and their families at this very difficult time for them.
