Alan Mahon
Alan Mahon - won the Man of the Match Poll for the Portsmouth game
Mahon, returning from injury and back in the side for the first time since our win at Colchester, turned in an excellent performance in the centre of midfield and was voted man of the match in our voting poll, claiming 35.3% of the vote and taking the three points towards our Player of the Year.

Our two central defenders, Clarke Carlisle and Steven Caldwell, couldn't be separated and were joint second with both of them taking an 11.3% share of the vote. They both get two points.

Goalkeeper Gabor Kiraly was in fourth place and although he didn't get any points, he and Mahon swap places in the player ratings thread on the message board. Here it is Kiraly picking up the maximum three points having scored an average rating of 7.75 out of ten.

Again the two central defenders take the other points. In the ratings Carlisle scores two points with a rating of 7.70 and Caldwell a single point from a rating of 7.45. It all means Clarke Carlisle not only keeps top place but he's now pulled four points clear of second place Robbie Blake who was used only as a late substitute on Tuesday.

The latest points totals are;

22: Clarke Carlisle
18: Robbie Blake
12: Andy Gray & Brian Jensen
11: Steven Caldwell
9: Kyle Lafferty
8: Alan Mahon
6: David Unsworth
5: Gabor Kiraly & Chris McCann
3: Michael Duff
2: Wayne Thomas
1: Stephen Jordan
