They play against Azerbaijan (20th), San Marino (22nd) and Hungary (25th) and having made his international bow in the recent friendly against Holland, Alex is in Billy Stark's squad again for all three games.
He's not featured in the first team this season, other than being named on the bench in the Carling Cup, but nevertheless it will make him unavailable for our next three league games.
But that doesn't worry manager Owen Coyle who is more than happy to see one of his young players receiving international recognition. "We are delighted for Alex," he said.
"He may miss some games, but he goes with our blessing because it is not every day you are called up for your country. Alex was unfortunate to pick up an injury early in his Under-19 debut against Holland last month and it is great news that he has again earned selection.
"It gives him another opportunity of experiencing football at international level, which can only be good for Alex and Burnley Football Club."
This is also another big feather in the cap for our youth development team who have also seen such as Richard Chaplow, Chris McCann and Kyle Lafferty capped at various levels in the last few years.
