Macca moves to Caley

He's played exclusively in the reserves this season and previous manager Brian Laws agreed that he could go out on loan in the second half of the season. Laws has gone but the move has still been allowed and for the second time he'll play his football in Scotland having been with Falkirk in the first half of last season.

Caley boss, former England central defender Terry Butcher, said: "We've had a look at Alex in training and he's shaped up very well. We're please he's agreed to see out the season with us and he adds to our attacking resources."

It was suggested earlier in the week that he might be joined by Wes Fletcher but it now looks as if Wes will remain at Turf Moor.
