Macca gets Bramall Lane win

Alex made his first appearance of the season for the Clarets in the 3-2 win there in December and last night was in the Scotland Under-19 squad that won their first game in the UEFA Under-19 Championships Elite Round.

They beat Slovakia 2-1 having come from a goal behind at half time. Rangers' midfielder Stephen Stirling equalised with a 54^th minute penalty and the Scots won it with a goal from Jamie Ness of Livingston.

England beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 in the other game. For Alex and the Scots they now play England's opponents at Doncaster on Friday before returning to Bramall Lane next Monday for the clash against England.
