Unfortunately, despite the 2-0 lead, they were unable to hold on and lost the game 3-2 with the winner coming from a late penalty converted by Yacine Brahimi.
These are not his first goals for his adopted country. During the UEFA Championship qualifying tournament in Hungary he scored against Azerbaijan in a 1-1 draw and got another two in a comprehensive 8-0 win against San Marino.
He's played five games in total and scored five goals, and he should next be in action for Scotland at the end of May and early June when they face three games against Slovakia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and England. The venues for these games is still to be confirmed.
