Looking like same again

Robbie Blake - expected to play after recovering from calf injury
That’s the good news ahead of this afternoon’s Turf Moor clash with Millwall and that means we should be able to field five substitutes again. Despite having been given the go ahead to add to his squad, and Stan has constantly complained this season that it is not big enough, there have been no additions to the squad this week and that means it will be the same sixteen on duty as last week.

The suggestions are that Gareth Farrelly, who was on the subs bench last week, could come back into the starting line up and although passed fit Weller could be the one to miss out if indeed Stan does recall his loan midfielder to the starting eleven.

If that is the case Burnley should line up:

Brian Jensen, Dean West, Graham Branch, Arthur Gnohere, Mo Camara, Ian Moore, Richard Chaplow, Gareth Farrelly, Luke Chadwick, Robbie Blake, Delroy Facey. Subs: Lee Roche, Paul Weller, Tony Grant, Joel Pilkington, Matt O’Neill.

Millwall will be without Tim Cahill who is serving the second match of a two match suspension and they will be forced into one other change with Abou Fafana away on international duty with the Ivory Coast.

There have been no clues from The Den but it is expected that caretaker boss Dennis Wise could come into the midfield as a replacement for Fafana who was signed from Juventus.

Their side will include Robbie Ryan who a week last Monday was told he no longer had a future at Millwall by manager Mark McGhee. A day later McGhee was gone and Ryan was brought straight back into the side.

Millwall are expected to line up:

Tony Warner, Kevin Muscat, Paul Robinson, Darren Ward, Robbie Ryan, Paul Ifill, Andy Roberts, David Livermore, Dennis Wise 84, Neil Harris, Bob Peeters. Subs from Willy Gueret, Alan Dunne, Stuart Nethercott, Tony Craig, Kevin Braniff, Noel Whelan.
