Little looks set for Blades move

Little was on loan back at Reading from Portsmouth and after returning to the south coast club was released at the end of his one year deal. There were rumours of a move to Coventry but in the end he landed at Sheffield United on trial and went with them on their pre-season tour.

He did well and Blackwell said yesterday that he had him in mind but had told the player he would not be influenced because of a superb goal he'd scored in one game.

However Blackwell has offered him a deal and said today: "I have offered Glen a contract. He has done well and we have put an offer forward that we think is genuine and takes everything into consideration, so we shall see what happens."

At this time Little hasn't as yet decided whether to accept the offer or not.
