Little leaves Shots

Glen Little
Glen signed for the Shots in the summer when they were managed by former Reading assistant boss Kevin Dillon. But Dillon has since been sacked and replaced by former Wimbledon and Bolton striker Dean Holdsworth.

Since Holdsworth took over Little has not featured and after making 16 appearances he was told they could not guarantee him first team football. The result of this is that they've released him from his contract to enable him to move on and look elsewhere for a contract next season at a new club.

It's now over 14 years since Glen Little first arrived at Burnley from Glentoran in a £100,000 transfer. He remained with us until the end of the 2003/04 season, having had loans with both Reading and Bolton.

In the summer of 2004 he signed for Reading on a permanent basis and has also played for Portsmouth and Sheffield United before joining Aldershot.
