League One Leeds want Coyne

However, whilst other clubs show interest in him, the relegated West Yorkshire club can only sit and wait after going into administration. They are currently unable to sign players and will have to wait for clearance once they come out of administration. They have released Neil Sullivan whilst the first choice goalkeeper and his back up, Casper Ankergren and Graham Stack, were both there on loan deals, and that has left them in desperate need of at least one new goalkeeper.

Coyne has said he would prefer to stay in the Championship and that makes the point dodging relegated side anything but favourites for his signature. Cardiff and Norwich are two other clubs that have been linked with him along with Ipswich although Ipswich boss Jim Magilton claimed he'd never been on the radar.

Danny is still officially a Claret and is currently on international duty with Wales. He played the first half of their 2-2 draw against New Zealand on Saturday at Wrexham before being replaced by Wolves youngster Wayne Hennessey. It was his fifteenth cap and his tenth since signing for the Clarets in 2004.

On Saturday he'll be hoping to make another international appearance as the Welsh take on the Czech Republic in a Euro 2008 qualifier in the Millennium Stadium.
