Lafferty linked with Fulham

This morning's edition of the newspaper that regular gets things a long way wide of the mark about our club are reporting that Fulham, who have already spent well over £20 million this summer, are ready to offer £2 million for Kyle,

At least the price keeps on rising and since January it looks as though it has now gone up four times (if this rag is to be believed) since Celtic put in an offer of £500,000 at the beginning of the year. They were told he wasn't for sale, as were Wolves recently when they made an offer for him.

I'm very sceptical about anything about or club in this particular newspaper - and I'm certainly not sure Kyle is going to be the subject of a bid from Fulham. Either way, he'll remain a Burnley player, and a player very much part of the first team squad. He's looked good during the pre-season and is more than ready to challenge the more experienced strikers in our squad.
