There’s no news as to whether his loan period will be extended or not but this week Kyle is in Israel having received his first call up for the Northern Ireland Under 21s. They will be playing two friendlies against Israel this week and Kyle is expected to play in at least one of them. The first of them takes place tomorrow in Nazareth and the two sides will meet again on Wednesday in the Hezelia Stadium in Tel Aviv.

It’s a new look Under 21 squad that has been named by Roy Millar with fourteen of the twenty man squad not having played at this level before. Kyle, along with six others, has stepped up from the Under-19 squad.

The most experienced member of the squad is Sammy Clingan, who has recently transferred from Wolves to Nottingham Forest. He has six caps at this level.

It’s another great boost for Kyle, who has done extremely well during his month at Darlington and has scored three times in six games for them during which they have picked up eleven points and climbed into the play off positions.
