Kyle back in the green of Northern Ireland

The Irish Under-19 side fell to a 3-1 defeat against an impressive Uruguay side but it was Kyle who brought them back into the game with a superb equaliser right on half time. They will play again tomorrow, this time against Turkey and should they qualify then they will be in action again on Friday.

Kyle is very much part of the international set up now with Northern Ireland and since he scored his first Burnley goal in the last game of last season he has featured for his country at Under-19, Under-21 and full international level.

He was involved in the Milk Cup last season. He had something of a dash to get to Crewe from the airport in time for the opening game of the season where he was named as a substitute and got on for his league debut for the Clarets.

He's very much in Steve Cotterill's plans now and the likelihood is that he'll be coming straight back again should they play on Friday, to take his place in the squad for the QPR game this Saturday.
