The game will be played at Kilmarnock's Rugby Park ground with a 7:30 p.m. kick off and will be the first time the two sides have met since they beat us 2-0 in New York in June 1960 just after we'd clinched the league title.
On that occasion things didn't go so smoothly with Burnley chairman Bob Lord attacking the Scottish club for their over physical tactics. He also too a swipe at referee Dennis Howell MP and was reported by the Labour Minister for Sport to the FA.
