Killer goes into Hyding

'Killer' never made the first team with the Clarets but did play league football for both Halifax and Oldham, but in more recent years has played non-league football with Hereford, Halifax and Droylsden.

After two years at Droylsden he signed earlier this month for Hyde and would have been in their side last weekend in a pre-season game against a Manchester City XI had he not received the call up for the Singapore trip.

He'll continue to combine his duties next season, playing in the Blue Square Bet league with Hyde and as goalkeeper coach for Burnley's Centre of Excellence.
