Kightly off to the Tractor Boys?

Ipswich Town boss Mick McCarthy has expressed an interest in being reunited with his old Wolves favourite Michael Kightly - but only if the price is right.

The 30 year old wide man seems to be surplus to requirements in Sean Dyche's selection process. Kightly has been anything other than a regular feature for the Clarets over the last two seasons.

Michael however still has one year left on his Turf Moor contract, so a fee will probably be required. Wages may also be an obstacle, Ipswich Town are running a tight ship these days.

Ipswich owner Marcus Evans will want to negotiate a rock bottom fee with the Clarets and also play hardball with Kightly's wage demands.

It’s a known fact that Kightly shared a coaching course with the Tractor Boys' skipper Luke Chambers this summer. Kightly indicated that he would like to link up with McCarthy again at Portman Road and get some regular game time in.

Might be just the right time for Kights to move on? (TEC).
