Joslin gets first Burnley game

Last updated : 06 August 2004 By Tony Scholes

Joslin will be making his first visit to Turf Moor for almost five years and a 1-0 win against Wycombe during the promotion season of 1999/2000.

He has though taken charge of four away matches since and has turned in some excellent performances. He is a referee that allows the players to get on with the game, maybe he shouldn’t last time as we lost 6-1 at Ipswich, and doesn’t go looking to make a name for himself.

You can guarantee with him that you will get a game that he will do his utmost to keep moving with as few stoppages as possible.

Last season in 36 games he handed out 88 yellow and 6 red cards which was way below average.

He will be assisted on Saturday by Martin Robinson and Russell Tiffin, both from County Durham.
