Jones set for Bradford switch

Jones joined Huddersfield in mid-October initially until 25th November. There were strong suggestions that it could be extended. However, there have been changes at the Galpharm and Jones hasn't played at all for them since Stan Ternent lost his job as manager and has even been back training at Gawthorpe.

He played four times for Huddersfield, winning two starts and coming off the bench twice, and his last appearance was in the 3-2 win against his old club Crewe when he replaced Michael Flynn. That was in 1st November, three days before Ternent departed.

It is certain that he'll leave Huddersfield this week and it is now believed he could be on his way back to Yorkshire to join Bradford City who are currently fourth in the league.

Any move will have to be completed by 5:00 p.m. this coming Thursday which is the deadline for emergency loans, and suggestions are that Owen Coyle is under real pressure to reduce the wage bill and more players could be on their way out of Turf Moor on a temporary basis.

Coyle himself has said recently there is no money to bring anyone in, but it now looks as though the squad could be reduced in size this coming week.
