The yellow cards have been fairly distributed, 22 of them have gone to home team players with 26 to away team players. As for the red cards, he sent off Barnsley's Dominik Werling in their 3-2 win at Southampton and more recently Lewis Guy of Doncaster in a 3-2 home defeat against Walsall.
That red card of his has been evident in the past at Turf Moor. Back in the 2002/03 season he delighted the home crowd with the dismissal of Coventry's Craig Hignett, but two seasons later he sent off Michael Duff, very harshly, in a home draw against Stoke. Last season he wrongly sent off Paul McShane in our 3-2 win against West Brom after what was a clash of heads with James O'Connor.
What can we expect from him? Cards I would suggest, and given his record over the years in Burnley games there is every chance of a controversial decision being given the wrong way. Still we shouldn't worry too much, there's worse to come on Saturday.
e will be assisted by David Storrie (West Yorkshire) and Richard Wigglesworth (South Yorkshire) whist the fourth official duties will be handled by Jake Collin (Merseyside).
