Joey Gudjonsson - in the Team of the Week with Martin Paterson

Kevin McDonald and Martin Paterson were named after the win against Derby and last week Chris Eagles made the team following that rare of wins at Bramall Lane against Sheffield United. This week both Joey Gudjonsson, scorer of two goals, and Martin Paterson impressed enough against Southampton to earn their place in the side.

Joey scored the second and third goals as the Clarets tore Southampton to pieces in the first eleven minutes whilst Pato was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet, twice hitting the woodwork in a man of the match performance.
