Jimmy Mullen - left Colwyn Bay for personal reasons
Jimmy left his post as Colwyn Bay manager on Monday after just one season in the job, he has resigned for personal reasons and no further details have been given by either Jimmy or the club.

Colwyn Bay, like Burnley, play in Claret & Blue and were relegated from the Unibond Premier League last season but they have struggled at the lower level and have ended the season in 16th place.

There was bad news for Chris Brass last Saturday when York all but confirmed their place in the Conference as they dropped into bottom place in the 3rd Division. However, Brassy has been the go ahead to carry on having had an almost impossible task this season.

We have also had a tale of two keepers. Marlon Beresford, now at Barnsley, is out for the season with a back injury. So 2003/04 ends the way it started for Marlon, he was all set to sign for York back in August but the deal was stopped after a medical revealed a back injury.

Former loan keeper Gavin Ward has been released by Coventry just a year after suffering the same fate at Walsall. He made fifteen appearances for the Sky Blues, including their win at the Turf, but was left out after their FA Cup exit at the hands of Colchester and that proved to be his last game for them.

Finally as Paul Cook takes over as player/coach at Accrington Stanley they have said farewell to Gordon Armstrong who has been released after one year at the club. Stretch will now be retiring from the game to concentrate on the photography business he runs with his wife.
