Jewell goes at Derby

Jewell replaced Billy Davies in November last year but was unable to bring about any recovery in the Premier League. In fact it was September this year before he recorded his first win and after yesterday's defeat he leaves after winning only seven league games in thirteen months at the club.

His assistant Chris Hutchings has taken over on a temporary basis for the upcoming cup ties against Forest Green Rovers and Manchester United.
