Jensen slams Olsen

Jensen, after a poor start to his Burnley career, has done well in the last year after twice coming in following serious injuries to Danny Coyne, who until the latest injury had just established himself as the number one choice for Wales.

The Beast has pointed to his form last season and has been talking to a Danish sports paper. He said, “Last year I had seventeen clean sheets and neither Morten Olsen (Danish manager) nor Keld Bordinggaard (coach) came to watch me a single time and that irritates me.

“I feel I have done really well over here in England and I have got good critique in the media, and from the goalkeeping coach and manager at Burnley. Therefore, I really feel they they should at least come and check up on me.”

The current goalkeeping duties for the Danes are carried out by former Glasgow Rangers keeper Jesper Christiansen and Tomas Sorensen, currently with Aston Villa. Last week Christiansen was in goal as they bowed out of the World Cup, and almost two years ago he came close to joining Burnley from Rangers but after training with the Clarets, and playing for us in a friendly against Manchester United, nothing came of the deal.
