Jay scores but they didn't get Robbie

The Tykes took a 2-1 lead into half time at Deepdale. Then, with just over 20 minutes to go former Claret Andy Gray scored to double the lead and that's how it looked set to stay until stoppage time.

Mark Robins made his first and only substitution in time added on, introducing Jay Rodriguez who joined them on a month's loan yesterday. And what an impact from Jay Rod. Gray broke clear and from his cross Jay, with his first touch of the ball, had the simplest task of rolling the ball into the empty net for his first goal since our 5-0 win over Forest last season.

But what about Robbie? Not only did Robins secure the loan deal for Rodriguez but he also made an approach to Clarets' boss Brian Laws for Blake but was turned down with Robbie remaining with the Clarets.
