It's Wolves again in the Carling Cup

The Turf - finally set to stage another League Cup tie
After being drawn away three times last season we were on the road again last night for our First Round tie at Bury so it has come as something of a shock to be drawn at home.

The Football League bunglers can spoil most things and although the draw was tonight we apparently were drawn out to play at home this morning. This was because we were one of the non-seeded clubs, our final placing in the league last season costing us our recently held place in the top half of the draw.

And before Ian Rush had even drawn a ball out we were there on the screen as one of those chosen to play at home – with Wolves the first drawn club to make another visit to the Turf.

Last season we went down 2-0 at Molineux with goals from Kenny Miller and Jody Craddock in the second half.

This time the one legged affair will be probably be played on Tuesday 21st September.
