This will be the first time we've played Fulham in this particular competition although we have met in the FA Cup on a few occasions, most recently in the 2002/03 season when we beat them 3-0 in a replay after drawing 1-1 down at their then temporary home of Loftus Road.
The tie brings Fulham's former Blackburn manager Roy Hodgson (you see I can spell his name correctly) back to the north west but he'll bring a Fulham side that haven't always had the best of fortune at our ground. You have to go back to April 1951 for the last time they won here and even to 1981 for their last draw.
The game is expected to be played on Tuesday 23rd September four days before the home derby game against Preston.
