It's Bally's goal

That was until Ian Moore started to take the applause from the crowd and the players. I assumed that my eyes mush be deceiving me. Why on earth my eyes should have thought Bally was the scorer in the first place is somewhat worrying. Despite him turning in some excellent performances recently there is nothing more certain that he will miss any scoring opportunity that comes his way.

So the goal was Ian Moore's. everyone said so and that was confirmed by the likes of radio and Ceefax but I was still to be convinced.

Later I watched the highlights on television and even after seeing that I still thought it was Bally's goal. Finally they took a closer look at it and there is absolutely no doubt that my eye sight is even better than I thought it was it really was Bally's. To those in the centre of the lower tier of the Jimmy Mac it would have been obvious but to anyone in any other area of the ground it could have been nothing other than guesswork.

The last touch from Ian Moore appears to be off his knee but that is not going in until Kevin Ball gets the last touch with his left foot. No doubt then that Bally has scored his first goal of the season, his first since Easter Monday last year and only his third for the Clarets.

He has become the fifteenth Claret to score a league goal this season.
