It was the Beast's night

He didn't just win them, he run away with both, and in doing so claimed the highest percentage ever recorded for a man of the match and claimed the second highest ever player rating, behind only that of Andrew Cole after his hat trick against QPR last season at Loftus Road.

I always feel any player who claims over 50% of the vote in one of the man of the match polls must have had a hell of a good game to have impressed such a high percentage of the voters. Jensen didn't just do that but he polled an incredible 91.3%.

Robbie Blake, who proved to be an inspired substitute, got the only goal of the game and took second place with 2.0% whilst 1.8% was enough to give Wade Elliott third place. Chris Eagles was the only other player to poll even 1% of the vote.

It was the same to two in the player ratings but again there was some distance between first and second. Jensen's rating was an outstanding 9.83 out of 10 and behind him in second place Blake had a rating of 8.24, a rating that would very often see a player in top place.

The back four, in front of the Beast, had a good night and Stephen Jordan took third place. He started the game in the centre of defence and ended it at left back in his first game back since losing his place after being sent off at Reading. His rating of 7.78 out of 10 was just enough to beat Steven Caldwell to third place.

Jensen gets the maximum six points, Blake nets four points and there's one point each for both Elliott and Jordan.
