It is looking like Grant

Grant was out injured earlier in the season whilst Lee Camp established himself in Phil Brown’s team and that meant he missed out when Camp Senior had some choice words for Brown on the local radio, words that got his son dropped from the side.

Camp’s back in the team now with the 42 year-old goalkeeper coach Kevin Poole, who came in after Camp’s dad’s comments, acting as substitute goalkeeper.

Grant is an England Under-21 international who made his Derby debut against the Clarets early in the 2002/03 season. He came on as a substitute, replacing former Burnley keeper Andy Oakes, with us already 2-1 in front and that’s the way it stayed.

Not only was his first appearance for the Rams against us but so was his last league appearance, and that is just over a year ago in October 2004. This was the live Sky TV game at the Turf which we lost 2-0 on something of a waterlogged pitch. Grant had an excellent game, deputising for the suspended Camp.
