It will be particularly good news for Kyle Lafferty, who scored their third against Liechtenstein last week, giving him some match action during whilst he is suspended from domestic football for the next three fixtures.

Northern Ireland have two games, both of them away from home. On Saturday 8th September they travel to Riga where they will play Latvia in the Skonto Stadium and four days later on the following Wednesday they face Iceland in the Laugardalsvollur Stadium in Reykjavic.

That second game should see our Irish contingent come up against Joey Gudjonsson who is expected to be named in the Iceland side for this game. They too have two games, they also play Spain (again in Reykjavic) on the Saturday.

There's no news of the Albanian squad as yet but they have one qualifying game, a tough affair against Holland which will be played on the Wednesday in Tirana.
