Ric Davies - selected for England
Striker Ric Davies scored 35 goals for the Clarets last season and that has brought him to the attention of the England management who have brought him into their squad for the game.

Ric's latest goal at the National Football Museum Tournament in Preston obviously caught the eye of PNE boss Steve Cowell, part of the England management team. It sets up a classic battle between Davies and goalkeeper O'Neill who will no doubt be eager to win the bragging rights within the Clarets camp.

The game takes place on the opening day of the IFA 'Worldnet' tournament. 80 teams will vie for the IFA Cup, Plate and Veteran's Bowl. This year sees two teams from Nigeria and Worldnet regulars RC Lens from France chasing successes in previous tournaments.

rganiser John Boocock says: "The IFA is not just about winning, it's about building bridges between rival groups of supporters and this tournament is the epitome of that sentiment."
