International call up for Nizic

That training camp was held in London but Nizic will now travel to Kuala Lumpur for the upcoming Asian Football Confederation  Championship qualifiers. He's one of a squad of 23 with 16 of those players Australian based and playing in the Hyundai A-League.

Of the other seven, one is from Italy, one from Spain with five currently with English clubs. Besides Nizic, those from England are Jake Adelson (Everton), Callum Elder (Leicester), Jordan Lyden (Aston Villa) and Peter Skapetis (QPR).

The competition is the first stage of the qualifications for the Fifa Under-20 World Cup in 2015.

They will play three games in Kuala Lumpar. They face Hong Kong on 3rd October, Chinese Taipei two days later and finally Vietnam on Monday 7th October.

This is one of nine groups with the winners, along with the six best second placed teams joining hosts Myanmar for the AFC Championships which will be held in October 2014.

It's a first call up for Nizic who first arrived at Turf Moor in the summer of 2012 before finally being able to sign his deal a year later.
