C:WindowsTempphp202E.tmpTom initially signed for Carlisle on Friday 30th October and has played in four games for them, three in the league and one in the FA Cup. He made a debut in a 3-0 defeat at Portsmouth and then played in the FA Cup defeat at Peterborough.

It was then back to league action and an excellent game in a 1-0 win at Accrington, but just over a week ago he had a difficult game at Dagenham & Redbridge which saw him left out of the team for last Saturday's home defeat against Newport.

Manager Keith Curle was still keen to keep him and, once the deal was done today, he said: Tom has done well and we think there is more to come from him.

"He likes to defend and that's something we can work with. He's enjoying being around the first team and he has a good attitude and approach to the way he plays. We think he'll continue to improve and we're pleased that he'll be with us for another month."

Anderson will now be available for Carlisle's next five fixtures, home games against Northampton and York and away games at Exeter Morecambe and Newport.
