The badges are priced at £2.50 (plus postage and packing) and you can buy them in either of the two club shops, Turf Moor in Town or at the ground. And they are now also available from the club’s online shop – click HERE to go directly to buy the badge.
Over 500 of you have already signed up to the campaign and this is a remarkable figure given that it has only been available for those with internet access until now. If you haven’t signed up and wish to then visit the I Support Burnley section of the Clarets Mad site.
The badge is a further opportunity for you to show your support for the campaign that encourages support of the team and opposes abuse, violence and racism.
The badge is not intended as an opportunity to make money, more to encourage further support for this campaign, although any profit from the sale will go directly to the Football Club.
The campaign has had support from a number of the Supporters Groups and from the club itself and this is the first in hopefully a number of initiatives between the club and Clarets Mad to promote and support the I Support Burnley campaign.
"Clarets Mad are delighted to work closely with the club on this campaign and are thankful for the support they have given us," said editor Tony Scholes. "Our web site supports Burnley Football Club and it can only be of benefit when supporters and club work together on initiatives.
"The badges are hopefully just the first in a number of initiatives and Clarets Mad does believe this campaign is a way forward to help in creating a much better atmosphere at Burnley games in more ways than one."
Commenting on behalf of the club, Marketing Manager Edoardo Abis said:
"The club is committed to making Turf Moor a safer place to visit and initiatives like this are one of many ways of achieving our aim.
"We are fully behind the I Support Burnley campaign and hope that it will further increase the already magnificent support that the club enjoys."
