He's recently been captaining the reserve team but he won't be in the line up this Friday for the Turf Moor clash against Liverpool reserves after attending a meeting this morning at Turf Moor when the club issued the suspension pending a full investigation.
It now looks as though he is very unlikely to ever pull on a claret and blue shirt again, even for the reserves, and the response from supporters has been very negative towards the player.
For me his comments were very much out of order. I expect better of Burnley players than that and it can only be good news that his time at Turf Moor is coming to an end this summer.
