Grimsby is a sell out

A typical view from the away end
You are and have you got your ticket? If not then sadly you are going to miss out because the game is a complete sell out for both home and away supporters. So if you were thinking of sneaking in with the home fans you can't even do that.

Grimsby's average gate this season is just over 6,300 and their highest gate is 9,235 for the visit of Sheffield Wednesday. That could well be beaten on Saturday with a capacity of just over 10,000 at the less than attractive home of the Mariners.

Just because you have a ticket won't mean you will be able to watch the game though, the away end at Grimsby is just about as bad as anything there is when it comes to a poor view. Last season I had a seat from which the pitch was barely visible although fortunately I was able to move on that occasion into an area where no tickets had been sold.

So you know just how bad your view is the excellent Grimsby Town official site allow you to take a sneak preview with their surf 2 your seat feature. Just visit it and enter you seat number but include three numerics i.e. P082.

A special request to those sat near the front: Can you please avoid standing as much as possible because for those behind there is no view whatsoever when stood because of the roof. Let's all do our best to see as much as we can in these dreadful conditions.
