Grant joins Bristol City

Grant was released by the Clarets in the summer after he turned down a two year deal and has found that getting himself a new club was not so easy.

This has led him to Ashton Gate where he has been taken on with manager Brian Tinnion looking for a midfielder to replace Alex Russell who is out injured for a month.

He will be in the squad for their home game tomorrow against Port Vale with the Bristol club, one of the pre-season favourites for promotion, hoping to kick start their season. They are currently bottom with just one point from three games.

If all goes well Grant could find himself winning a permanent deal with Bristol City, although he has kept his options open by not signing any contract with them.
