Good news for Berisha and Duff

Besart Berisha - he and Michael Duff should play again this season
Besart was injured playing for Albania earlier in the season, suffering a cruciate ligament injury that was initially thought to have ruled him out for the season. But he's three months into his rehab now and is about three months away from playing again.

Michael Duff's injury looked far worse after he went down in the penalty box against Crystal Palace. Exploratory surgery last week determined that he wouldn't need further surgery on the cruciate and he'll be back a lot sooner than expected.

Manager Owen Coyle told shareholders last night at the club's AGM: "All being well, I would hope to see Besart in a Burnley shirt before the end of the season. Michael is a lot better than we first expected and again, with the rub of the green, I would expect him to certainly be playing in a Burnley shirt long before the end of the season."

It's a massive boost for the Clarets but and for the two players themselves. Duff was an established member of the side whilst I'm sure everyone was looking forward to seeing Berisha in action for the first team.
