Glen makes it to the Premiership with more to come

Delroy Facey - at the Turf for another month
Glen was brought on in the 79th minute as a replacement for Bruno N’Gotty with Bolton trailing by a goal to nil. He made an almost immediate impact by creating an equaliser for Kevin Davies having been on for just six minutes.

Sam Allardyce has always insisted that he would like to extend the loan and that has now happened with Glen staying with Bolton for a further month with both Gareth Farrelly and Delroy Facey extending their stays at Turf Moor for a similar period.

This means Glen has three more Premiership opportunities, the first of which will be televised live by Sky. That is at Aston Villa next Sunday with a 4:05 p.m. kick off. Following that there are also games at the City of Manchester Stadium against KKMC and a home game against Birmingham.

Facey and Farrelly have already played in six games each for the Clarets with one more to come (at Watford) before the first month comes to an end. They will be able to get in another five games during their second months, assuming that the game at home to Reading will be postponed.

Home games against Walsall and Millwall will sandwich two away fixtures in a week against Ipswich and West Ham and the last time they will be available during the second month will be the Carling Cup tie at Wolves.

Stan will be delighted because he has consistently said that he would like to keep both of them for a further month and that is now the case.

As for Glen, congratulations from us on making your Premiership debut yesterday.
