Glen looks set for Reading

His contract is at an end come the summer and it has not been the best kept secret from the club that they have wanted to re-sign Glen with them making him an offer even before a ball had been kicked in the 2003/04 season.

However, he is free to walk away from the club at the end of the season and it now looks as if that will happen with the Madejski Stadium looking the likely destination.

He does have an offer on the table from the Clarets and we are keen for him to sign it and there has been much speculation that the Weary Whinger would like to take him to Deepdale. The good money though is on him starting next season in a blue and white hooped shirt.

The speculation was fuelled even more on Friday by Reading manager Steve Coppell no less. He told a fans forum that there would be a new right winger arriving during the summer, a right winger that Reading fans know well and one that Coppell has previously worked with.

It seems that according to the Reading fans only one player fits the bill and that is Glen.

Over his seven years plus at the Turf so far he has given us some great moments. If you are to leave Glen then a few more in the last games of this season would be very much appreciated if it keeps us in this division.
