In confirming the news Burnley Football Club have said that Little will then return to Burnley.
Burnley fans are outraged at the news, the decision taken as a money saving move, and it does look as though this could reduce attendances at the last four matches even further.
The savings though will be greater than any loss of ticket revenue and this is clearly the reason that the club have taken this action with us having absolutely nothing to play for in our remaining eight games.
Needless to say we wish Glen the very best at Reading, he is expected to make his debut for them a week on Friday in a televised game against strugglers Brighton.
Clarets' Chairman Barry Kilby described it as good business for the club and told the official web site,
"The deal is similar to the one we did with David Johnson last season. It is worth £100,000 to the club and gives us money to build for next season. It makes sense for both clubs."
