Glen and Stan latest

Reading's Director of Football Nick Hammond revealed today that they have already started discussions with Glen Little and his agent to take him to the Madejski Stadium.

It was only money that prevented Glen going last summer but it looks all systems go this time. Hammond said: "We have started discussions with Glen and his representative. We're hopeful that a deal can be made during the summer to make him a Reading player at the start of next season."

It looks a certainty unless anyone else moves in but he is definitely on his way out of Turf Moor as are Stan Ternent and Sam Ellis following yesterdays stunning news.

Stan, who watched the reserves lose yet again this afternoon, will be saying nothing until after the Sunderland game on Sunday which is his last match in charge.

It should be interesting and there seems little likelihood of him going quietly.

Clarets Mad should be back fully by then - Tony is expected to return before this weekend's match against Sunderland.
